Conversation Over Borders launched in May 2020 in response to the social isolation experienced across the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Very quickly, we flourished into a community of thousands of people working together to ensure that people who have been displaced have equal opportunities to thrive in the UK. Our success has been driven by our community values of collaboration, anti-racism, courage, positivity and being person-centred. Our strength is gained by creating a space where everyone's ideas are listened to equally.
We amplify people's voices and build communities through one-to-one English & Befriending, Digital Inclusion, Refugee Wellbeing, creative Storytelling & Campaigns and cultural exchange projects, including online cooking classes and events.
